Mr. Giuseppe Luongo you owe me $12.95 for wasting three hours of my life...
The worst... most boring racing... the worst track... the easy track....
Why didn't I just turn it off, I'm a big supporter of anything to do with Supercross/Motocross/Arenacross
But as Donald would say.... that was a disaster.

Now the real fun starts, the SNL Presidential debate

Was it just us? That was the dumbest race of the year.

To call that SMX or supercross?

That event was a wet dream for a lot of Vital posters, a Supercross track with no whoops, no rhythm sections, and no jumps with consequences.

Plus there were 125 races in the middle of the Motos. The Yamaha shootout one was a pretty good race.

I guess they really never will have a true "Supercross" des Nations.

If they built a US style supercross track over there half the Euros would break their necks and their would be no GP's the next year.

That is through no fault of their own or a reflection on their skill they just never ride those types of tracks and to try to race a one off race on a full blown supercross track with no experience would be a disaster.

It had a 2 stroke race.

That's 100% better than our Series.

I liked the camaraderie between the riders from around the world.

I enjoyed the race.

Yeah, no nothing...except lots and lots of sand. Of course the Euros were euphoric because Herlings beat Dungey once...duh! The whole thing was designed to let the MXGP riders shine.

It was freaking supid!

true, there is room to improve but it's their first smx. mec started out as 'just another vegas sx without whoops' and look what they incorporated with joker lane, elevated starts, track reaching into the stands etc.
overall I think the racing was good at smx, 3 different winners and nobody got hurt as far as I know.

Idk, some of the jumps at the first MEC were freaking massive, so much so that it really stood out to me as different, but I haven't watched it in a long time.

That track was awesome!!! It's the closest thing we will ever see to top pros today riding an 1980's era supercross track. I've only seen the highlights but thought it was a nice change.

We got to see it...and it turns out it was lame.

Modern bikes are too good for an 80's era track.
