Seth call the AMA ask for a Media guide, in that media guide they have every venue a supercross or national was run at including the results. It's a book, might cost ya $25.00 but it's worth it.

Already been done in the 80's, the promoter who started it kicked ass then it was taken over by a local scam artist who ran it into the ground. Might work? cost a lot to ship the bikes and all, plus they keep them in customs too long afterwards.

Why would there be customs between states?

maybe because of a large drug trade? All I know is that the bikes had to be shipped by boat, which took long and they were in customs in Long Beach for an extra 3-4 days, I'll have to ask Jimmy Holley, he raced it along with Rodney Smith, Brian Myerscough, Shaun Kalos, Mike Larson among others.
