Anyone see the little chart Reedy put on IG? Interesting stuff. Statistically RC was better at SX than some give him credit for (from what I gather around here as the general perception).

Yeah just saw that. RC had some really dominant seasons... Got a lot of wins in 01/02 and 03/05 were 7 each I think? Those are big numbers to put up each time. Fucker was so good starting the season too. Always came out pumping, yet talked about the end of the season, usually he'd done his damage before then!

It's crazy to me that the Rock has so many more starts, and he was injured so much. If his wrists were made of something more than jello fuck knows how many he'd have!

Well 01 was 13 straight, so there's a big chunk right there. I was really interested by the 3 way tie for win percentage.

Didn't mean to take away from Skippy, he had highlighted his stat line, I just found the whole table interesting.

I'm shocked at LaRocco. 228 starts & only 4 wins.

Anyone have RV's figures for comparison?

Carmichael should show that chart next time he is broadcasting with Emig. They have the same amount of starts but RC has just slightly better results than him.

Not sure, but that table is ranked via all time starts, I'm guessing RV is about 90 starts maybe? 6 seasons, minus a few races in 09 (Sick), 10(Ankle after St Louis), 11(Didn't qualify for one?), 12(Knee)... so 6 x 17 minus a bit...

Almost 40 something wins right?

He should overtly be a cockhead on national telly? haha... He didn't have to race MC in his prime...

Not sure why it says Reed is 1st in podium percentage. Looks like RC is 1st on podium percentage with 76%, with Reed 2nd at 73%? Or did I misread something?

92 Starts
41 Wins (44.6%)
63 Podiums (68.5%)
78 Top 5s (84.85)

It's possible that I miscounted.

He is 1st all time podium list–125. His percentage has recently dropped (it was 84% a couple years ago) but he is right.

Is there a way to calculate the data for RV the last four seasons he won a title? I bet those percentages would be even higher... Just curious for the sake of the consistency championship correlation.

It'd be about 20 less starts and maybe 5-8 or so less wins...

Does not seem possible for RV to have 92 starts. Didn't race 09 and missed a good portion of 10. Does this include regional sx or just the big boy class?

He raced 13 races in 2009 and 14 in 2010.

Wow my memory sucks. Thought he missed most of 09 due to injury. And in 10 didn't he get hurt at St Louis? Is it the 14th race that year? Funny how our brains remember things sometimes. I was at St Louis in 09 and RV was not. I do remember he won his first race or races in late 09 as the title fight was playing out.

Biggest Reed fanboy right here but usually these stats are reflected upon after your career is finished, the fact that Reed is posting this on IG maybe a hint that the full time whistle might be nearer than we think?

Interesting seeing how the top riders have compared over the years.

Another couple of stats about Reedy:

- 4 times he has lost the championship by seven points or less.

- For 11 straight years, from 2002 to 2012, he won at least one national title race (either SX or MX) each year.

Where's RJ? According to Racer X vault statistics he has 100 starts and 27 wins in 250SX, giving him a 27% win %. 6th overall in wins and 6th in win %. Against this group of riders anyways. Guess there could be other riders with less starts not listed in Reed's chart with higher stats.

My exact thought when I saw this on IG last night.... " the rocks stats are safe " .... My assumption is there was a big piece of reality pie eaten the past couple weeks....before A1 Reed seemed to be a little too confident which is sometimes as facaud....His podiums is the one thing he cares about so thats what he appears to be focused on....making the podium if he can this year and then.....thats it...

Indeed.... one of the 4 years was 2011.... But lets be realistic on that one, without that crazy night in jacksonville where the champ didnt make the main, that race in vegas wouls have been -30 pts

Dungey must be the best starter in history! Seeing as according to some, he's incapable of passing, he must just always get great starts.
