Based on those lap times it should be fairly obvious that Canard, Webb, and Febvre, will make up the podium. They all have times of 1:45, the fourth fastest qualifier is four seconds back.

I wonder if any of these links from MXer DW might still be good. Notice the date is from 2007.

250f qual heat 1. Gasjer wins looking smooth. Japan 250f champ Tomita showed well in 2nd about 7 sec back.

Not sure. 250f I think 2 heats to narrow the field down to 30 riders for tomorrows race.

250f heat2, Jeremy Martin won going away.

Only 1 heat for 450's. Not enough riders for 2.

Webb led wire to wire. Canard pressured a bunch but then eased up last 2 laps. No sense pushing. I watched with Webb's mom. Nice lady and very watchful over her son.

Sorry cell pics

Sorry for being so brief. Battery and data allowance both running low. I have a kid I used to coach running in the support class so minding him also.

Febvre was way back on the start and spent the short heat coming through the pack but Webb and Trey were long gone.

Walked by Trey's pit afterwards. Overheard his mech I think discussing some tire problem and maybe running a mousse tomorrow. Might explain why he slowed slightly at the end.

FGR01, if you can post results, or a pic like you did of qualifying, we'd much appreciate. We're using your updates over at MotoXAddicts as well. Thank you for keeping us up on what's going on, on the other side of the world.

Man the 250 ama class looks really strong with how well Webb is doing. So far he was able beat Barcia and Canard and battled with febvre a bit
The 450s will be even more stacked when jmart and webb go up

x2

I've felt for a while that Webb will be the hottest commodity coming out of the 250 ranks for some time, in spite of many of the negative comments that I've read concerning his character.

Yep. .and sometimes people motivate themselves in different ways as well. If you talk a little smack sometimes, then you get yourself fired up because you know you have to back it up. He's the type to back it up, because he gets himself so mad. I saw the same thing with RC, he got really mad if he got beat.
