He rode much better, but beat Pourcel? I don't know, CP is pretty tough to beat, Dungey had his hands full all summer with him.

Rode a good race. A lot less reckless. Once he ties smooth in with his speed he'll be kicking some serious ass.

Great ride. Good to see him put a complete race together and get a good finish.

I think Stroupe is faster than pourcel in terms of raw speed but he just has to keep it on 2 wheels. I think this will be his year for a title

Pourcel isn't training right now so I would give the edge to Stroupe, at least at the start of the East cost races.

If this helps him mature and smooth out it will be great ... he's always been really fast. Good for him.

After a1 I was hard on him for how he rode. Didn't blame him for reed but he was all over the place. He looked smooth and even a bit cautious at Phoenix.

He's got speed. He's a contender in the lites and can be on big bike in the future.

When Stroupe gets off the big bike and back on the 250, its going to feel like a mini bike. Cp and JB have NOTHING on the guys Stroupe is racing against right now. Stroupe will whooop some ass in the east lites...

CP handed Dungey his ass quite a few times last year...

hahaha... Saw your other post... It should be a good series... I like watching Austin ride, kids a throttle jockey for sure... But CP is amazingly smooth, and he got it done seemingly easy last year... Austin will need to stay up to beat him for sure... And Barcia might be awesome too... or he could be more noise than speed...

I'm a little skeptic of Austin as well since he gets a little wild sometimes , but no denying that kid fuggin' rips! last night in his heat race ( i think it was the heat correct?) he just flat out yarded everyone for about a 1/2 lap. No lie.....the kid is a gamer.

Austin rode fantastic, and he rode smart. He seemed to be moving out of the way for championship contenders, an honorable thing to do. Completely different rider this week

Interesting situation: Let's say that one of the part time 450 riders ends up leading the points by the time the series goes East. What do you do as a team manager: Move him back down to the 250 as planned, or keep him on the 450...?
