I hope he loves the bike, and gets back to his true potential...I miss the mx vs atv unleashed sikkness he used to pull on that Kawasaki.

AND!!!!!!!!

I hope he races the nationals (battles tooth and nail with Reed, RV, RD, TC for the title)...then shows up at the MXdN at lommel next year and literally lays WASTE to the entire field in his qualy, and in both of his motos (like I know he's capable of).

That will silence all the haters...

We need James Stewart on the track as much as possible, and we need him having fun....and by "we" I mean the entire sport of motocross.

JS7 is a great rider and the sport is better when he's competing. Not sure the restyled YZ-450F really suited him for whatever reason. Next year could even be better than this year if he does the outdoors and the top stay healthy. RD, RC, CR, TC JS... any of those five could win on a given day. But a pic or source confirming this would be nice.

It's not like it's his first post, cut the guy some slack. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

JS7's old manage works at JGR so it would not suprise me.

Is a RC car part of the deal?

That's good enough for me.
Consider this rumor: "CONFIRMED".

Awesome. If your current gig doesn't work out, Pixar could use someone with you photo editing skills.

And by "we" you mean "you." This summer was just fine without James being there. RD, RV and CR put on an outstanding show sprinkled in with some Metcalfe and then Barcia as a fill in and add to that a healthy TC to the mix and "we" didn't miss James really. Team USA has been fine at the MXDN minus James the past 3 years as well. If James does decide to run outdoors next year there's no guarantee he makes the MXDN if RD and RV are healthy and go 1 -2 in the series again. James is fun to watch no doubt about it but his presence doesn't make or break a series, there's too many other fast guys out there that bring excitement to the series now. RD & RV have also pushed each other to a level of fitness and speed that James will be surprised by if he does decide to race outdoors next year. Having another fast guy like James racing helps the series no doubt but "we" don't have to have James there for the series to be compelling and exciting. The entire sport of motocross will be fine whether James races or not.

Wow, so "we" didn't miss Canard either then I guess?

Hate to break it to you, but there are 5 guys all pretty close in speed racing 450s full time. James is one of them. It would have been a better series if all 5 were competing.

Shoot....Gibbs prolly has the money to hire the top 20 450 guys out there if they wanted to. Smile

Davi has a 2 year deal with Gibbs.
1 year done already (2011).
But I believe that year #2 (2012) is optional for both.
Which means either Davi himself or JGR can opt out I believe.
I also believe Davi said he wanted to stay at JGR for 2012...so I think the ball is in JGRs court as to if they keep him or not.
Not sure what Braytons deal was with JGR.
