MY
DAY
The Shop
And the videos were good. I think this guy could help sell more bikes and cover his salary and racing costs. But maybe not since they don't really need help selling all the 2 strokes...
So I could take it OFF!
No idea why Husky does let him pit under their tent on a 125. It would be a genius move by Husky. Dont even have to give him a bike and mechanic. Let him pit under the tent, give him and his mechanic some help and a place to relax and do PR.
.
I enjoyed him in the beginning of last season with all the 2-stankin hype, then his Snapchat kinda, "escalated"
My 5cents is on this why he isn't getting a decent ride, cause he can ride a bike for sure, and I dig the style he has!
On the other hand, not all of them want a ride and be proper.
Gonna be fun seeing him again tough, and I hope they make some sort of videos again.
Our core is the blue collar Ace hardware, Home Depot set and that's who Gared is. With a little hippie thrown in and I'm cool with that. So please please please stop trying to sell us out to the corporations people... remember we ride dirt bikes.
Lastly I do hope he shows up and can put it in the show, however, Millville... that hill is a 125 killer.
God forbid someone have personality.
Pit Row
They are missing out on sales if they don't capitalize on his popularity with the 2 stroke crowd.
I myself bought a new 2017 TC250 last year(first new bike in my life) after seeing Stenke at Mt Morris. The sound of him screaming and looking like he was having a blast, talking with him between motos, led me into dealers shopping in following weeks. There wasn't a KTM150 available at the time, but Husky dealer had a TC250-so got it. Now I'm wanting a 125/150 this year too.
There's a niche there....they need to fully tap into it. Some adds,,,a couple big name or colorful riders,,,a bonus program for riders on a 125s that do well vs 250Fs.
And the 2000 new units in the US across all brands currently sounds fairly accurate from what I've heard. The last time i asked, which was two years ago, Yamaha was somewhere between 500-700 for 125s. I'm going off a super rough estimate here, but I believe 450 mx sales across the six major brands in the US are over somewhere around 20-25,000 units.
