Spotted Matt Bisceglia on a Star Racing Yamaha today...

Sorry, no photos... Busy testing some 2017 KTM models at Pala... But, I spotted a blank Yamaha, with a certain rider without a name or number. It turned out to be Matt Bisceglia pounding out motos on one of Star Racing Yamaha's YZ250Fs... Maybe we'll see him contest the last two rounds since Jeremy Martin bowed out? Or maybe he'll still be on the Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 and they were thinking about next year...

Star already has four riders, and Bradley Taft was placed on Rock River, which made me suspect they didn't want to run five bikes... But maybe that has changed...

Current 2017 lineup is:
Aaron Plessinger
Mitchell Harrison
Colt Nichols
Dylan Ferrandis

I also heard today that we might see an energy drink sponsor change for Star in 2017...

This gonna be interesting, Yamaha has always been outdoor supporters and with Monster trying to turn everything SX, this could get sketchy

I just think Monster's spread of money and support is getting interesting...

US: Factory Kawi, PC Kawi, Team Tedder, Factory Yamaha, JGR Yamaha, and now Star... Along with some individual athletes...

Europe: Rinaldi Yamaha, CLS Kawi, Dixon Kawi, Factory Kawi, Gasjer/Gariboldi Honda, Kemea Yamaha, Wilvo Stading Construct Yamaha...

Yosh Suzuki would be fools to let Matt go to another team. He's been killing it on the 450. Unless of course rumors are true of Yosh not being a 450 team next yearDry

Well TMZ told me that indeed Yosh will not field a 450 team next year and that JS7 has already been let out of current deal. The picture that Mookie posted on his instagram of the 2nd Geico in the crate was indeed for big brother to test. That was the reason for the late night press release of JS7 not racing last week. Hmmmm makes you wonder huh ?
