Picked me up a 2015 yesterday!! It was between that and the Yamaha 250f but after sitting on them both and riding in the parking lot the Yamaha just felt extremely wide and the zuke just felt better..

Great choice and congrats! I'm waiting on the ride reports for the 16' RMZ250 , to see what all the motor changes and so forth are like. But dang , hard to beat the deals of the 15' Suzuki's and Kawi's right now. And I finally sold that damn Kawi 450 just yesterday....so I'm movin' on.

Thanks guys I got out of riding for about a year and bought a Harley and decided that is not for me and the dealership gave me good deal on it and pretty good trade in money for my Harley. I'm just curious about the forks and how they work exactly

Jeffro, I saw this on CL today looks like a pretty good deal for a 15 RMZ 450 may be a bit out of your way, but figured I would still show it to you....

Have fun on your new scooter!! I know quite a few guys that ride Zooks and love them.
My oldest son rides a 14 RMZ 250 and it's been rock solid.

I've talked to some people who have ridden the 16 RMZ250 and the changes they made weren't so great. The 16 is actually slower than the previous bikes. Nice buy OP. Either the RMZ or YZ would be a great choice. Now go ride the hell outta that thing!

Who? I haven't seen of heard of a report of anyone seeing one , let alone ride one. They won't even be released till mid October.

I have a few friends who test for the magazines that had the chance to ride it already. They were pretty disappointed, especially after all the changes they made to the bike. Everyone figured it would be better than previous years.

Congrats on your bike!! I have ridden mine behind my house in the woods and one thing I can say it does conner like no other bike I've ever ridden. You can just lay it down in a rut and it just tracks right through with no effort. The reviews on the bike on websites complain about the motor not being that strong but I have to disagree with that as the motor feels really strong in the midrange and pulls really nice. I practiced a couple starts also and it just straight rips off the start..

Big Tex, set the suspension up, put the white ignition plug in, and start in first gear WFO shifting over the gate to 2nd W/ no clutch and shit....you got a whole bunch of folks behind you into the first corner. BTW, just noticed your from Dallas TX, saw one of your homeboys last week the " Reverend Horton Heat" at a RnR show and he doing just fine as well..Big Tex, the setup on your new bike is paramount drop the forks till they are equal W/ the top clamps and set the sag @ 105mm in the rear. carry on
