Spoke with my wallet, RMZ450 edition

Edited Date/Time 1/26/2017 4:17pm
Found a deal too good to pass up. Leftover 2014 RMZ450 model for $5100 out the door. Also gave me boot, helmet, gloves and goggles for half off. Total accessories was $144! It's 75 miles away so they're holding it til the end of next week so I can pick it up. I am very excited Smile

The new graphics kit they put on it was what drew my attention. In reality, I wish I couldve found an enduro bike at this price, but I'm more than willing to ride an mx bike off road at this price. I am almost as excited at the good deal on the accessories than I am about the bike lol. I won't feel a bit of regret paying what I did, because I knew if I paid 7500 to 9000 for a bike that I'd really regret such a big price. I actually ended up paying $134 for the boots, helmet, goggles and gloves though, which is still a great deal in my book.

Oh yeah, it beats that wr450 deal by a mile! I hope 1st gear is low enough to be useful offroad, though. We will see. If not, I'll be adding a couple teeth lol.

If you want a brand new bike in 2017, that's a great deal!!

EDIT - I still cannot understand who in the actual hell is handling the color coordination on these RMZ's. They look like a kid got ahold of it started slapping random black plastic on the thing. The seat cover looks like some random aftermarket cover. Nothing really flows well at all, but fortunately you can fix all that in the aftermarket.

At least the side panels were yellow! I foresee all yellow plastic, skid plate, headlight, and handguards in my future.

Congratulations, that's a great deal. Those bikes can make some good woods/trail bikes. Enjoy

I wanted a 2 stroke badly, but I just couldn't pass this up. A ktm was almost 9000, and a yz250x was 7500, so it was a no brainer. I had originally wanted an RMZ450, but I'd never found one less than 7500 until today.

Some rmz250 deals are so cheap I'm almost close to buying one, and I'm a 2stroke nutjob.

The rmz 250 they had was $5100 also. After I left I started worrying that I'd accidentally bought a 250 lol. I actually paid 5380, not 5100, but still a killer deal. I forgot the added cost of my accessories and they cut the setup and shipping fee from $350 down to $130 I think. I don't have my receipt in front of me at the moment so these numbers arent exact, but close. This guy was a real pleasure to deal with; not the kind of guy to try and convince me that a 2012 is worth 7 grand lol.

Yeah, as long as 1st gear is usable then I'm golden. I have to have rotator cuff surgery on feb. 12th, so It'll be another month before I can wring it out. Anyone got a lead on a good plastic skid plate?

I always loved the look of the rmz. I know the handling is great as well, but ive been a SUSZUKI fan since i bought a 1986 rm250 back in 1987. Id given up on finding a good deal on one though until this one came up. Man, I am so frigging excited to get this thing home and ride Smile Somewhere in texas, Tyler is pulling his pud right now lol.
