Sold my 250T a while back and picked this girl up.

Put a few items on it but I'm still waiting on a majority of the parts.

Don't pressure wash it and keep an eye on the frame at the head set welds and you'll be golden. Rode one a few weeks ago at Hangtown and loved it... for a 250f, lol

Rode one late last summer and it was amazeballs. Loved it. I'm envious. Enjoy!

A low to medium pressure washer is the only way I've ever known to wash a bike.

Thank you for the heads up Skip.

Heard pressure washing it can cause electrical issues. I looked up some remedies and there are a few I've found. But I normally don't use a pressure washer so I think I will stay with that routine! lol

Just don't use some industrial strength pressure washer and hold it on the electrical components and you will be okay lol. Awesome looking bike and garage!

I had a 14, 15 and 16 yz250f never had a problem ever with pressure washing them, a few incidents dosent mean all the bikes are bad. And never a cracked frame weld on any. My buddy has a 14 with 60 hours on it, I warned him about the shift stopper and impeller and he never bothered to replace them, still going strong. Enjoy the bike I loved it that is until I saw the light of riding a 2 stroke.

Sweet

What front brake setup is that?

Those ODI bars are junk. I bought a set and 20 minutes into my first ride with them I had a mild of a tip over. Needless to say they waffled as bad as a set of old steel bars, that's what I get for not sticking to renthals...

Man I'm on my second set. No problems with them as of yet.

And the front brake lever is an ARC lever.

Thanks fellas, but not having a bike for a few months made me put time in on the garage!

Not to mention I'm a little OCD!

VP bike wash and a garden hose. Or, Shout and a garden hose. VP works best, but Shout is a good second.

Wet bike and rinse off heavy stuff. Spray on VP. Rinse bike. Dirt, grease, all gone.

Edit to add the most important part: IceMan, nice ride! You'll love it until you have to do a top end. You'll love it less, but still love it. Smile

Enjoy! I had a 16 RMZ , hated the fork so much that I got rid of it and pick up the YZ. Best decision I've made in a long time. Within a half a lap I felt better on the blue bike then I ever did on the RMZ.

Did they include that bitchin floor mat with the purchase? If so, you're a hell of a negotiator
