Very nice! I always do a similar setup with my tools since it was the way my dad had his while I was growing up and it spoiled me. It was also an easy way for the old man to know when I had taken a tool...

I'm a big peg board fan myself. I've also started collecting old cheap tools and putting them in a tool box for my boys to use when they get older so they don't lose my good stuff, haha.

Mine. Yeah, more bicycle oriented. The bigger sockets and such for the motos are in a Craftsman 4-drawer.

Nary a Swede played for the Wings, let alone the NHL.

Here's one wall of mine. It's nothing special and I have a wide variety of hobbies so it has a little bit of everything packed in there. I need to get some better lighting though:

Very nice but I prefer to work out in our gravel parking area. It just makes it so much easier to lose small parts.

nice. i need /want to do mine. i too suffer from ocd. the bench is sweet. i am jealous of the multiple outlets. i picture my future shop every time i unplug things 30 times doing jobs on bike or our vehicles.
for sockets, what about on the strip below the peg board. drill a hole on the socket rail ends and mount them to that strip? horizontally. just popped into me head when i looked at your pic. shop time is almost as good as ride timeWink

Too many tools in view of the woman of the house ... they'll all be stuffed in the junk drawer in the kitchen by next week. Whistling

Haha, my wife never comes out to my shop. Come to think of it, we bought this house a couple years ago and I think she's only been in there once

Mine wanted to come out and see it!

That's the master trick, finding one that thinks it's awesome too!

O.K. so I've got some questions for you "peg board" people.

I've always thought it looked like the cool way to go and of course very organized (which I need help with) but...

It's just never really worked for me. The workbench still gets loaded with tools that don't get hung back up. I have a hard time "loading up" to go to the races, just to have to unload them all again. Tool boxes seem to work for me better.

What say ye of better organization?

I have tools not hung that are in my "go box". The only things I need to take off the wall to go to the track is the T-handles. Other than that I won't have to load and unload like you said, that would be a pain in the ass.
