Looks good! Going to be like a modern bike compared to those air cooled twin shockers.

What is "full floater" ? Just suzuki's version of the mono shock?

The shock is not attached to a fixed point therefore it floats. Amazing stuff.

That's way cool Tbteam, great find. And yes on the Full Floater. My RM 465 would swallow up the nastiest stuff, that you wouldn't dare hit with the front end, with just a blip of the throttle.

"Spoke with my old, crusty wallet". Its not what's on the outside but the inside that counts!

I'm out of town for the weekend, so my buddy and former pro, Eric Yarnell, is going to race it tomorrow in a Sunshine State Vintage MX series race.

Eric hasn't seen a motorcycle in over five years. This should be fun.

My favorite bike of all time.

I'm jealous. Nice grab!

I saw it! Nice bike. There was another one there too. What number did your friend use? I spoke to him briefly before he went out for practice, but don't remember the number. If it was #11, I got a picture of him racing your bike.

I still want one exactly like this one to restore.
The first bike I owned/rode was a 1982 RM125.

I always wondered what that meant! Any info on why they went away from this design? Pros and Cons? Did is just become outdated?

I'm no expert on the subject, but I've heard that it was too expensive to manufacture. I've also heard there was a lawsuit brought on by a guy that claimed Suzuki stole his idea. Indeed there was a lawsuit, and I think the guy won. Why they stopped making the Full-Floater is probably a combination of both of those things. It just became not worth it.
