Speed last lap coverage

The live coverage, announcing and racing were awesome! But, is there some requirement that the producers must have the cameras on the leader the last half of the race? I don't think that there will be any arguments that the only thing most people wanted to see was 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place during the last half a lap during the Atlanta 450 main. Is this a Tv requirement or should we have a fan next to the producer telling them to stay on the battle?

I just (Sunday morning)watched The Speed report (I think) and they showed the last few corners with Dungy,Stewart and Reed.I think they relpay it later in the day

If Stewart wasn't so hell bent on retribution he would of had second. Can't lose your cool, too many fast riders out there. Gotta race forward to the checkers.

We're not allowed to discuss this or be critical of the director. Other thread was yanked.

Besides, nothing important happened ... other than Stewart managing to lose two positions in the last two turns.
