Thought you might like (or hate ) or whatever! Wink

CR125 (134cc now) in a CRF150RB chassis.
The chassis has been lengthened and raised ,so a bit taller seat height and wheelbase
(right in between a super mini and a full sized bike)

hahaha,
I built it for me! Wink

but figured i wouldn't be the only one to see it as the ultimate pit bike,

or a decent transition bike for a kid coming off an 85 to big bikes (depending on the kids size)

I have seen you on a pit bike with 8hp! Would love to see the damage you could do on this thing!!!

Which one? Seems all the Northern Utah fast guys we used to race back in the day were knee-high to a grasshopper

Fair enough. I'd like to see someone like that on this scooter - I bet it rips!

You know what's funny is , I had one of the worst crashes I've ever had on this kid's CR80 back in the day. I was racing 250 2 strokes back then and that little bike kicked my ass. Was like trying to hold onto a little rocket ship haha. That bike AJ built would definitely be a handful and being cautious with the throttle hand!

Actually ,
I built one of these on a 85 chassis some years back.. a blast but kind of scary and wicked to ride.

It's why i lengthened both the frame and swing arm on this one Smile

The power to weight ratio is impressive. For a shorter rider and/ or a transitional rider, that would be very competitive. Nice thinking out of the box.

Looks like shit but the concept is great. There is definitely room in this sport for steel frame conversions. I hope you do a CR500 in 2016 KTM steel frame project.

Looks like fun. A crf150f engine in that frame/suspension would also be a fun pit bike I would think

Yes that's a fun conversion also, I have one of those and race it often in pit bike classes around here Wink
Its a stock Honda sized CRF150RB chassis though, with a CRF150F engine, where the 125 i went a size larger in the chassis.

these are also fun:
CRF150RB with a CRF250X or CRF250R engine.

Well I've limited time on it so far, a bit of practice , and one GP moto.
Since I'm more accustomed to a 500,its been adapting
a bit to a 125..(regardless chassis)

So far - a real blast! it rails most anything you even think to point it at,
and at 180 pounds it is really fun to toss around on jumps whoops etc.
It's definitely fast and light! seems far more stable thru whoops than i thought it might be.. tracks very well.

Pit Bike? Transition bike?

I would race the local series on that thing!
