So, i was at a friends dads house last night. We were talking motocross and how different it is now compared to the 70's-80's. He is one of those people that just genuinely love motorcycles and he pulled out this mattel 1974 elsinore cr 250. I was absolutely amazed as to how he got it for christmas in 74 and never put it together. Something so simple yet so intriguing. I said to him i need to take a picture of this, people on vital are going to love this. So here it is!!!

That's pretty cool, Wish I could find mine, I got that with a shiny new XR 75 for Christmas that year.

I had one of those as a kid, I'd totally forgotten about them. Thanks for the memories.

I could imagine these things are worth some money to the right person. Funny thing is it still has the original price tag on it of a whopping $5.99Grinning

60 fuckin bucks? My dad bought a running version of the real thing in the early 80's for $40.01 more in about the same shape, plus fenders.

My babysitter that I went to when I was in kindergarten had one of those I tried to steal it and my mom made me take it back. True story!

Big Jim action figure was bad ass with that bike. It made playing with dolls cool.
