I saw an ad for a small bike with small wheels that was said to be good on or off road. It was battery driven and could be charged plug in or with built in solar panel.

I forgot where I saw it. Google search came up empty. Please give me a link if you have seen it (and have a better memory than this old fart).

Solar is not going to give you much energy.

Is this the one?

Daymak Solar Powered Minibike

They claim a 8 hour charge will have a range of 6.2 miles

Yes, that is it. Thanks. As for the range, I would use it to go get the mail and cruise around the block. So no problem.

I live in Sunny Florida so just park it in the driveway and let it charge.

Nice shock on the seat, you hit a bump and slide off the front. Lesson kiddies, don't let solar engineers design your motorcycle.

I heard KTM is using this in their 2015.5 450. Dungey will prove you wrong in January
