I read recently Bauer's thread regarding the financial woes of Team Suzuki and how they're not paying Ryan Dungey. See link below.

I was all set to start selling items out of my garage that included (but not limited to):
My Schwinn Homegrown mtn bike (hardtail made by Yeti, very rare to find in good shape).
Various used books
Samsung 40" 1080p LCD HDTV (only because I'm about to get a 50" LED model)
My couch (but not my new bed...its a platform bed that cost damn near as much as my mtn bike!)
A Canon HD projector (I got most of the vomit off it already and it still works)
My roommate's Z06 Corvette (I'm kidding on that part, but he is selling it, PM me for details if you're interested)

But then I thought, let's do what has been done time and time again in the past for privateers and start a Paypal account for Dungey so that he too, doesn't have to go out and......*gasp*.....get a fucking job like the rest (well, some...) of us. See link below.

But then (key the dark piano music please), I listened to the PulpMX show podcast today and Matthes said, and I quote (actually paraphrasing), " That's a bogus rumor. I did some digging...Ryan's been paid, everything's good.".

WHAT????

I almost sold all my shit (sans the roommie's 850+ HP Z06 of course) to send money to Ryan and now Matthes says its (that Suzuki is in financial ruin and not paying Dungey) untrue?

So who's right and who's not?

I would think Suzuki would know exactly how many pennies are in that piggy bank-set aside for the motocross team racing effort, before the contract talks even got underway.

Do you think Suzuki would have pulled that nonsense on RC? How many races do you think Dungey would attend with no pay before he says f off, I'm not showing up next week? Chances are, that Suzuki office was investingating the contingency claims for fraud since they kept getting a photo copy of results that had 1-1 on it with the date changed.

I played Footbal,Baseball, Ran Track, play Golf, Raced BMX, Hunt,Fish. Billiards .



BMX is the only thing I've participated in that is even close to MX.
