Any opportunity to watch from trackside, or is it stands only?

any idea what you think the dirt is like? harder, sandy, soft?
I was hoping they would truck some sand in but it looks like it has a lot of regular Carolina clay.
I wasn't able to get close enough to really tell though.

I'll be there, not sure what to expect but looking forward to it! I'm bringing my 85' 500KX for the vintage class, was bringing the Bultaco but didn't get it ready in time. I'm on the fence about bringing the modern bike. I'm a woods racer and not setup for moto but considering the nature of most of the GP layouts I'm hoping it will be safe. Any one else?

Barcia, Tomac, Nicoletti, and in MX2 Webb, AC, Forkner, Savatgy and Hampshire. Track looks cool, wish I was going!

The track looks long, should make for some decent lap times. Does anyone outside the US know if it will be airing anywhere other than the MXGP website? Preferably an archive, so I don't have to wake up at 2am to watch it.

Damn, that`s like current top5 of 250 Nationals. Awesome. Add to that Jeremy Martin. From what I understand he`s racing too.

If you buy the MXGP-TV package for this event, you can watch it live or in your own time. It's well worth the small fee to watch all the racing with no ads!

That jump through the catch fencing looks sketchy as hell. Looks alright other than that though. Looking forward to the race

I want to see how someone can defend Geoff and his MXGP website of the year for pulling these pictures and putting them on his own site with no credit given anywhere. Just another stamp on his ass clownery.

Yeah that fence looks a little close for comfort! I'm sure its the distance of the photos that makes it look so close. If not eeeek

I'm sure if you clear the jump fine then you'll be nowhere near it, I was just thinking about someone getting wrong and going off the side. Could be nasty. Maybe they'll take it down before the race

So this is the future of grand Prix racing.... Big grandstands and a supercross track... Who would have thought Daytona was so far ahead of the curve??

I had big plans to ride too.
I was going to ride my KX250 and my son would ride his KX125
Also loaning a friend my 1985 XR350R for the Vintage class.

But, I got injured last weekend so I'll be playing mechanic for the other guys.
They will be riding, I will be watching and taking photos.
Sucks, but I'm seriously happy to just be involved...I love moto.
