We know that as a kid, three of the most dreaded words you'll ever see in the middle of long, leisurely, summer are (gulp) Back-To-School. Wow, talk about a buzzkill. It's enough to send kids into hiding, and parents dreading the usual Back-To-School shopping trips. To prevent any further mental trauma, we'll simply refer to it as BTS from here on out.

Fortunately, Smooth Industries has a cool line of officially licensed goodies like backpacks, lunch boxes, and note pads featuring riders like Trey Canard, Chad Reed, Kevin Windham, Brian Deegan that make going back to school a little more palatable. They've also offered up a way to ease the sting a bit by offering up a Smooth Industries BTS Contest. Here's how it works.

Click here to scope out Smooth's line of BTS goodies.

Post your favorite item (the one you'd most like to win) in this thread. Also give a short explanation why. Call it homework.

The gang at Smooth Industries will pick a podium of winners, and not only provide the item they'd most like, but throw in some bonus goodies.

1st place will get what they pick, plus a backpack, lunchbox, notebook and also will get 4 pack folder and pencil pack.

2nd place will get what they pick, plus a backpack, lunchbox and a pencil pack.

3rd place will get lunchbox and a Ride Smooth 3-ring binder.

The contest runs from July 25th through August 1st, and winners will be announced on the week of August 8th.

Got it? Start searching.

My favorite item is the Trey Canard backpack and lunchbox combo. Canard is an great role model, athlete, and rider, and a true fan supports his rider through thick and thin. I would love to sport the Trey Canard backpack at school to show that he is not forgotten during his time off due to injury. We love you Trey

Chad Reed for sure. He is too cool for school. The guy dropped from 30ft plus then finished the moto. Guy has a lot of heart and never gives up. Go 22

My little guy would sure like the Chad Reed stuff, he will be starting kindegarden this fall, and what better way to start it than with some new stuff from his name sake. His name is Reed named after my wifes favorite....and now his favorite rider also. He would be pumped he got to meet him a couple years ago, and this would be the icing on the cake. Plus CR22 is a bad MF, i seen that crash at Millville and to think he got up and rode again was insane.

thanks

I would love to get it for me, but instead have my little cousin in mind, the Chad Reed/Two Two Motorsports Backpack ...since BTS is setting in for him, and to boot he just got sidelined with a busted ankle while riding his 85, safe to say he is a little bummed out...CR22 is one of his favorite riders and not to sound like a broken record, but the crash at Millville just showed to him what perseverance and being resilient will do for you.

My son will be turning Five and Starting Kindergarten, A CHAD REED/TWO TWO MOTORSPORTS BACKPACK
would be good way to start! He's a big Chad Reed Fan and everytime we watch the Nationals he's always sayin', I want Reed to win! So as a Big supporter of 22 Motorsports it would be cool to get a liitle Support to look Cool at School!

You forgot to add that your son loves playing MX Alive online with us big boys and often plays as Chad Reed. His favorite thing to say other than I want Reed to win is.....

"Let it go Bro"

True story.

My little guy on Friday..didn't want to meet Trey (too shy) but was ok meeting and getting a photo taken with his mom, Cari
We saw Chad riding around the pits on his Mule but didn't want to bother him so we got a photo of the truck.
It would be cool to have a Trey Canard MX backpack for him to start Kindergarten this August, thanks.

My son would love a Canard back pack, he's 5 and tries to do Trey's air wheelies! He goes to a school with a uniform and cannot have anything personalized except a backpack!

My son would love the Dungey backpack, his dad made the PW50 he races look like Dungey's at his request.

Why would he like to win, he loves to win but he is learning good sportsmanship and congratulates others when he doesn't.

Even though later he will always whisper to me "Momma I will WIN him next time".

Thanks

We were actually just looking at these and my boy loves the Reed backpack! We have been talking about hopefully getting one. Just going into middle school this year, he will certainly have the best bag in school!

My name is Brooklyn I am almost 5 and my daddy is helping me type this letter because I really like Chad Reed because he didn't get hurt when he crashed and I really like his lunch box because I really like lunch. I like peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Love,
Brooklyn.

Now, if only I had kids to back up the reasoning why I need the Reed lunch box... I'd be a horrible father by winning it and handing my son a used Spongebob lunch bag while I kept the moto clad softee to myself. Something I would do, lol. Gotta look gangsta when rollin' into work!

This is the earliest Back to School thread I have ever seen... It's only May. Not to mention 2015.

Just kidding.
