1.does not participating in the MXoN (when you are able and qualified) equate to taking a knee during the NATIONAL ANTHEM?
2.Does "The Man" need to relinquish the managerial position he has held for "ever"?
3.Should it be contract clad that the winner of 250 and 450 classes must participate?

I say YES to all 3, just my take

3 I think USA riders should feel proud to ride for their country like Euros do and not obligated by contract

It's obvious that MXON is not a priority for many top U.S. riders, they really don't want to race it unless it's on home turf.
If the riders feel that way it's hard as a fan to get pumped about it.
If we don't send the top 3 riders I'm ok with not fielding a team for that year.
I don't see the reasoning in sending a "B" team.
I also agree it's time to get a new face.
No disrespect to RD....he is the man and always puts his heart into everything he does!
It's time to switch things around and give some other mgr's a turn.
Every year it should be someone different, like you can't mgr 2 years in a row.

1. No. There is no correlation between these two issues. We all know these riders that are passing on the event are doing so to take a break after a long, grueling year, and generally don't want to keep riding and testing to prep for another motocross race held weeks after the last national in a foreign country. (I would prefer they go, personally). NFL players taking a knee are doing so for entirely different reasons. I'm kind of surprised this was even asked. If it was meant to be sarcastic then forget what I said haha.

2. No. Roger's MXoN track record (as a rider and manager) speaks for itself. IMO after all he's done, he's earned the right to hold this position as long as he so chooses. He still puts in 100% effort! He can only select riders that are healthy enough and willing to ride. Given what his options were this year, who else would you have sent? If you read Racer X's "Between the Motos" from today, DeCoster thinks this is the worst Motocross des Nations he's been a part of, and the blame can't be placed on him. Seely's shock failed TWICE and Covington didn't ride how any of us had hoped he would. The Man is still the right person for the job.

3. No. Just...no.

I don't know about all the kneeling and all that, but, yeah, we basically just got beat at the MXdN. That's just the way it goes. The Euros are bada--. I'm not sure if the result would've been better regardless of who we sent.

I agree, Decoaster is a losser. Managing team USA is not rocket appliances.

Not when Europe has rockets and the U.S.A. is hamstrung with riding washers and dryers.

The interview that Matthes did with Decoster was interesting. I feel like he is going to step down, not because of the results but because of the comment he made about him being one of few that wants to do it the right way.

With that said, the results wont change for you guys if Roger steps down. You are delusional if you think that.

You suggesting Roger should step down is worthy of a severe ass whooping. Sorry but I hope anybody at your local track does just that. Have fun.

Roger should step down, he is the guy giving 100% every year , and been thrown bones to work with... he runs Factory KTM, and probably does more hours than every rider in his team put together, and then does this on top.

Let someone else do it, see how hard it really is, and maybe start to lay a foundation . For me , that guy right now is Mike Larocco.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was RD's last go at it. He sounded pretty over it in PulpMX interview

2. Roger is fine, but because the best didn't want to go, you want to fire him?lol
3. No. Because communism.
