Thanks guys.

While I couldn't hang onto the 450 under race conditions I did race at REM on a MXA 2010 KTM250F and went 5-6 for 5th overall out of 8. I rode well the first moto but dropped anchor mid way through the second moto (due to my crash related injuries) and the guy I had passed on the last lap of the first moto got 4th overall. If I wasn't going to Vegas I would have for sure waited until next weekend to race.

All and all it was a great day and both the weather and the track couldn't have been better. Took two laps on the National/USGP track (GNARLY) on the Kawi and look forward to being healthy enough to ride this bad boy.

For a glimpse at some of the REM track that will be used for the USGP take a look at Searle going up this off camber up hill.

It requires sending in your ECU, throttle body, and fuel line. The ECU is remapped, parts transferred from stock ECU to the SSB, and the fuel line increased in length due to the injector being on the bottom.

Kawasaki product is shipping now with Honda to follow shortly. The response has been overwhelming and presently there is a back log for the Honda while Kawasaki is available today.

What about Yamaha?Any plans to make one?I know im interested in one. Also it would be nice to see a dyno of JUST adding the SSB not the SSB with the fmf.

It was just months ago you were raving over Wade Wilcox's modification. Make your mind up!

Schedule for the Yamaha is still to be determined. Excellent point about the dyno chart request.....will work on that.

bermshot-Wade's mod helps with stalling and improves tractability.

The Simon Smart Body helps with stalling, improves tractability, plus provides a demonstrable performance increase. The SSB price also includes remapping and it is a much more comprehensive solution. The fact the increased flow allows for quiet applications to not have a huge impact on power is an added bonus in my book.

$225 compared to $595.

Classic case of how fast do you want to go....how much money do you want to spend?

Also with the 2 M Max testing being utilized in AMA racing next year professional teams are looking for how to meet the 115 db and still make good power. If the 81db at 100 meter part of the standard is implemented here in the states like it is in Europe it makes this issue even more relevant since the game playing with the ignition mapping goes out the window when the bikes are in gear and full throttle.
