Better safe than sorry, yz’s are quite notorious for their front brakes being nothing great. I like to do the same from time to time, I also don’t see the point in stopping to do so

It’s always the way, but it’s always worth the investment as long as you appreciate it and don’t expect any return other than having a wicked bike. You should post a pic

Nice! I’ve always liked some red on Yamaha’s. Something with the mix of the blue and red looks awesome

What kind of paint/dye did you use on your ignition cover?

Rit dye is what I used. Came out great. But be extra careful. It can be a disaster mess if your not.

I've never had one picture alone make me want a bike so bad... I wish my wallet was full enough to empty it on a yz250

Nice looking ride!!!

How much did you pay for the GYTR stand?
12/29/2017 7:14am

My new 250x. First time getting a bike in a crate... Did not expect it to come with an extra top end kit (piston, rings, bearings etc) and engine gaskets.

It was -30c last night, garage was cold but I couldn't resist not putting it together... It will be months before I put some mix in the tank.

What do you guys do for break in? My first new 2 stroke, I haven't ridden a 2 stroke in like 20 years.

I have a lot less in this one than a new one. Thats with kit suspension and all the other mods I wanted! Looking at less than 6k. So your wallet just may be full enough!

Thanks! Um, I think I paid like 85 bucks or so for the stand. Needed it for this scoot!

I did ask if they would add the 125 as well but I take it as they didn't reply, that meant no.
