My new 2016 yz250. Bought it second hand with what id guess was about 5 very easy hours on it. Barely a scratch on it Smile came with a GYTR exspansion chamber and muffler. Has been jetted and runs like a absolute champ

I ride mostly bush and some track. I plan on buying a skid plate (any suggestions on a good skid plate be appreciated) possibly an aftermarket reed valve but still unsure if theyre worth it for me. Also investigating larger fuel tanks

Loving the smokers in this thread!!

My11 YZ has done around 250 hours.. Had its first fresh piston 11 hours ago. Was a freestyle bike for 80 hours until the owner broke his back on it.. I basically traded it for my 05 Ktm 525exc - will never go back to a stroker.
Smokers for life!!
I mostly ride sandy single trail solo,
And enduro type riding when out with mates.

Contact me for any info.

In the middle of a complete redo of my 2013 I've owned since new. Lots of new things going on it including this giant muffler. Should be all buttoned up in the next two weeks. I'm picking up my suspension from HDR today as well.

My '06 YZ 250. First bike I bought after Mom & Dad stopped paying the bills. I bought it it brand new so needless to say I was pretty proud of myself.

Let us know how that silencer does, I am planning to get one pretty soon. Regardless of performance, it sure looks cool lol

Hey have you got an opinion on your vforce reeds? I heard they make a nice difference on 125s but not really noticeable on the 250's....

The vforce made a huge difference! Throttle response is unreal with it. However if your bike isn't jetted properly it probably won't do much. Just as good as adding a pipe from my experience.

I assume it will probably feel a little mellower than the shorter one. Quieter too. I'm cool with that.

Can I just please tell you all that I hate you. I was really happy with my CRF and now I'm looking on eBay. When I first started looking at buying a new bike over a year ago I wanted a yz250 but I couldn't justify the extra £1500 to have one over the CRF450. Now I kind of wish I had just got one.

Screw all you guys.
PS nice bikes.
