I didn't see the race last night, but thank God for Twitter (at least last night). I at least could follow it through Matthes' and GuyB's tweets there. Man, I was STOKED to read about Andrew Short not only get the holie...but staying out front for so long until he finally made the crucial mistake and let some guys by. I'm a huge fan, and really appreciate the guy for being such an outstanding rider for so long, and for being just as devoted to his wife and family. Not many guys can do that, at least on that level.

I must agree with you, I am a huge fan of Short and had the pleasure of meeting him at Daytona this year.

It turns out he is far more deserving of the #2 spot than Deano.

You can't ask for much more from the non champion than to get all the holeshots and TV exposure that he does for KTM.

I hope he has a holeshot and laps lead clause in his contract.
