Anyone got any word on whether Shorty is on the/a bike yet? Havent heard if he has signed any deals yet but just wondering if he is at least riding.

At Pala he was hanging on the track with the KTM guys, lending his better arm. Probably doesn't mean anything but you don't see an injured rider doing that very often.

...went from hero to zero on that KTM. Too bad, really great guy. Dungey's a really great guy, too and should take notice.

Yeah,when you look at the whole picture (years & detailed results) it does seem his results diminished some on that KTM.
Whats crazy is he still managed to end up 6th OA in points in SX last season finishing right behind the big 5 (RV,Reed,Dungey,JS,TC) and right in-front of KDub & Millsaps.Which IMO was still pretty dam good considering the 350 and him being new to it.
2010 I think he hurt his leg and missed 7 SX races.
2008,2009,3rd OA in SX.
2007 he missed like 11 races I think due to injury.

MX
2011 8th in MX missed 3 rounds(6 motos).
2010 3rd in MX had 4 bad motos.
2009 2nd in MX had 2 bad motos.
2008 3rd in MX 2 bad motos.
2007 3rd in MX 2 bad motos.


But it seems like the guy has always been pretty consistent when he wasn't injured.

Shorty broke his elbows and wrist the week before Southwick which puts it at around 5 weeks now. Healing time was listed at 8 weeks, so I would be very surprised if he is riding. I would think another month or so.
