A few days ago I was listening to this weeks PulpMX radio netcast, when Steve Matthes brought Adam on for an interview.

Holy Smokes, was that a cool interview with the young man, he was not your normal type of rider interview. Good on the whole PulpMx radio crew for having him on.

Pulpmx Radio #159 archive is here: PulpMX Radio #159

It's the second half of the third hour.

I will be watching to see how he does in the future.

Your right on the money man.....I have hung out with ADDY quite a few times, and let me tell you he is a bad dude. Anytime of day or night the kid just goes for it. I can remember when he was crashing at our house, and I brought up the idea to go bowling at midnight, and he looked me and was like " dude im soooo down, ill drive bro!" and off we went. No "its kinds late" or " dude your dumb" just a "fuck yeah lets do this thing".

Really stoked on Addy finnally getting some print and radio time, solid guy from a solid family, just a good program all around.

Go kill em Addy!

For sure not your normal interview. The description of the Josh Hill pass was epic.

So that's how a rider builds a fan base? Perhaps other up and coming riders should take note. The only word I can think of to describe the interview, is bold. I liked it. He came on sounding confident in who he is, and what his program is. I didn't know what to expect as they were introducing him. Some of the guys didn't know who he was, and I myself knew absolutely nothing about him other than hearing his name on the broadcast.

I think it was cool, and I also will be watching for him this weekend!

I've been around him and his brother for a long time. Addy is an awesome kid! These two are just forever stoked no matter what they're doing. No so cal punk attitude, just awesome kids that love riding bikes. Big Adam (the father) is a good guy as well. Just as much of a character. Stoked to these guys living their dream. Just wait for outdoors where Tyty (lil brother) shines more.

It was entertaining but that did not sound like a 23 year old IMO.

I agree 100%
He's an ok rider, and I'm sure he's a cool kid-

But I feel if he wants to move forward and make a career for himself, most big sponsors are looking for clean cut, well spoken, intelligent sounding guys who can represent their product or service to the masses.

Calling everyone "dude" might not be the best way to impress smart people. I cringed the entire interview.

Reminded me of how they talk in "Bill and Ted's Big Adventure"

I was stoked, contrasted sharply with Leib's stereotypical racing is expensive I work really hard privateer interview.
No offense to Leib, one of my favorite racers and I'm sure everything he said was true but I felt like I had already heard the same thing 100 times before.

My son and I had the pleasure of watching a live interview with Tyler and Adam at their BTO pit at A2. They certainly are some funny guys. Before that interview I had no idea who either of them were, but now my son and I are always rooting for them to make the mains.

On a side note, they are 2 of the biggest mofo's racing pro sx. They look way bigger than WP40.

I greatly enjoyed his interview. He seemed genuinely stoked on life and being able to race dirt bikes at the pro level and is taking it all in and not letting the haves and have nots get to him. Good for him and I hope he continues to do well and makes some mains this year.

Shmuck had 1 post in here and you have 3 posts. Jumping into the deep end of the pool hating on the "Seven Deuce Deuce", that's the way he talks and it is refreshing.

Enjoy it for what it is.

What sort of punk rock kid should he try to be. Based on your rad profile pic you are obviously the expert on all things punk Please tell us where he is going wrong. Laughing

Is he related to the owners of BTO? Seems like he has better support than most privateers.

I just listened to his interview and that was some good stuff. His description about the pass on Hill was great. Also seems like he is doing his homework with training and reviewing film to see where he's losing time. I'll be watching for him during the broadcast from now on.

Skid and NoFuck are obviously mentally handicapped.

Adam is one the best to hang with, at the races or traveling, never a dull moment. Glad he's getting some exposure. May not be the fastest guy out there but has worked really hard to get where he is and still has fun. I respect that.
