I think he has a bright one from what I've seen. I kind of bagged on the kid because I didn't think he trained hard enough ( even though I've always liked him ).....but the kid is proving me wrong. Super smooth and he has an awesome style on the big bike!
Wonder what that kid could be capable of if he trained his ass off? With someone like Aldon or Hughes , ect ??
All I know is , the kid better be on a factory bike next season , or a very well equipped satellite team! This kid has some wins coming within the next year or two. I wouldn't put it past him to sneak one in this year either.

He certainly has the starts dialed. He has the speed. He has the lines and the smarts to change lines when he needs to. He just needs to be more confident in his own ability. He doesn't ride the big bike like a part-timer... more like a tip-toeing full timer. Kid's gonna be fine on the score-sheets once he starts believing in himself as much as most of us believe in him.
Cole is one of those Windham kind of talents. We'll still be talking about him 10 years from now.
Was hoping he'd do Tor and STL.
Btw, if you've ever raced you know it takes desire to get the holeshot, and Cole has been getting great starts in the big class. That means he has that deep down desire to do well in the big class, he wants it bad, something you can't train for or put a price on.
