Not bad. For the options we had left... it's cool that we still have a team that should podium.

Young and keen, good luck to them.
Wonder if patriotic US Mxdn fans will let "ElkTomac" know their feelings at Unadilla?

USA MXDN Rookies.

Let's make 2017 just like 1981!

Great picks!

Not bad at all. Atleast this time around there are two guys familiar with the GP tracks. Plus I think it will suit Seely well. Good team.

Why wouldn't we send a PC guy for the 250 or chance at a 450? AC, Savatgy they both can rip and need to show what they got on a 450

Pumped for them, but can help but think we had better MX3 options like Peick, Plessy, Jmart, Craig

I didn't expect them to put Covington on the 450.

Sending a team that doesn't have a 450 Moto winner and the top guy being a 10yr pro that's just now finally winning in the 250 class as the main guy / captain is just a little strange and something for everyone to get used to because it's how it's gonna be going fwd.

A team to be respected and supported. They stood up and answered the call when everyone else passed at the chance. Much respect and I wish them all the best

I hope Roger D remembers this next year if the Des Nations makes it to Red Bud. Take the guys that want to go and not the ones that find it on their time.

I like young new talent getting a chance. Sometimes their appreciation of the offer to represent give them some extra motivation through national pride. Well, for some folks.Wink

They could do well, a win again team France will be fucking difficult, especially since Belgium, Holland, UK & Aus will all be really solid.

Good they're going tho, and great that Covington has got a shot. Not meaning that in a bad sense, he's been great this year... And no one should sleep on Seely. He's as talented as anyone out there. Add some starts and it could be a career defining event.

A part of me would have liked to have seen a boycott to hopefully force the current situation to be addressed.

Yep, Eli may be the best choice for our success but prefer him not to be asked next year if it's in the US

Eli should be asked any time we have a team and he is leading in points! If he steps aside fine...

If Covington can give Team USA one top ten finish, USA can win. Much like Germany's third rider in 2012. Other two need to have two solid motos. I'm a little surprised with moving Covington to the 450, but what other options were there? I'd definitely keep Osborne on the 250 with how he's been riding this year.

If the US GP is once again poorly attended as will be the case especially since it's ending up a last minute cluster and not even at Gatorback, then don't count on a US MXdN race (remember the multiple cancellations the past few years)....

Sorrily 2011 will go down as the final year of a premiere MXdN as far as full on top US support.

Should've picked a pro circuit guy for the open class and let them ride their 250f.

I'll bet a cold beer these boys will win.

Hope Seely shows up with a chip on his shoulder cause he has great rides in him. Zach is having a career year and this would close it out right and Covington can ride with anyone in 250.

IMO this team can do it.

I think the win is a long shot but who knows . A podium would be good.

I know it seems like it on paper but these guys are all solid, healthy, have great support and want to race.

The dnations is a different animal and a team effort with so many variables. When I think more about it it goes from being a possibility to a probability quickly.

I'm behind this group 100%.

Neither Peick nor Plessinger is a better pick than any of of. Jmart a very big maybe. I like the team, but I would have considered Craig over Covington on a 450. Covington is wildly inconsistent. But if he has a good day, look out the USA could still win and certainly still podium.

Best of luck team USA!

Go and kick some ass.

As a motocross hardcore fan (ama and gps) this is the most likeable us team ive seen. Guys who've been counted out in their careers and have the desire / recognise the great honour of representing their country in the greatest motocross event on the calendar. I will be routing for them.

This team can win. Covington's big plus is his starts, which is huge at the des nations. Zach should be the top 250, and on this hard slick track Seely should do top 5. That is enough for a podium at least and maybe, if Cairolli and Herlings take the top spots, good enough for the win.

But who cares, all of u guys im sure have realised Switzerland is gonna take this thing!! Woohoo

Someone confirm Osborn on a 250. For some reason I thought he was our open bike guy. MX3.
