For what exactly? So you can come back to them and wash spokes?

Talk to your financial advisory, they have lists of Scholarships being offered.

Never heard of any that do, but that would be a good idea for contingencies in the mini to schoolboy classes.

Theres a group in upstate NY that gives a scholarship to an MX racer that submits a paper. I think it's the family of a kid who was killed that raced MX.

I just know that there are lots of scholarships given from other companies that many don't know about. They are tax deductible and stuff so that's why many companies will give even a couple hundred dollar scholarships.

It is a scholarship in memory of Jon Rightmire. We usually give 3 away a year in the amount of $735 (Jon's number). Details can be found here:
http://www.frozen-ocean.com/rightmire-scholarship/

Jon Rightmire Continuing Education Fund

This fund had been established to be awarded to a Moto Cross Racer who is continuing their education. It is awarded to an individual who embodies the Moto Cross Family, spirit, friendship and competition that attracts racers to the sport. 2010 applications will be accepted by Frozen Ocean and by Gary Rightmire (Jon’s Dad). A team selects the applicant who best characterizes the spirit of the Moto Cross community. The award is given to a candidate each year. The amount of the award(s) will be a minimum of $735. Our goal is to award at least two $735 Scholarships each year. Donations can be sent to Frozen Ocean or Gary Rightmire and checks made out to the “Jon Rightmire Continuing Education Fund.” We would like to send a special thanks to Ithaca Recreation Sports for contributing one full scholarship each year from 2003-2009. Additionally, we would like to send a special thanks to Tessy Plastics for their contribution of a full scholarship in 2008 and two full scholarships in 2009.
