First off, Merry Christmas to all of you and your family's.

After years of the bike sitting in storage, we decided my three year old was ready for her first bike.

After 5 days straight of staying up till 2 AM (had to wait for the little one to fall asleep before I could start each night) and tearing the whole bike apart diagnosing/fixing/replacing everything in the carb, throttle body, and the valves, I finally got her present to fire at 11 PM last night.

I will say though, the smile was 100% worth the sleep deprevation

And of course Santa can't bring her first bike with out the obligatory new gear

Growing up, I loved Christmas morning more than anything, but now that me and the wife get to play Santa, I have learned what Christmas is truly about....the smile from your kid is better than any present I've ever received.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Merry Christmas! That's awesome you bought your 3 year old daughter a 50! I have a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter and I bought my son a PW50 when he was 15 months old and rode him around on it and when he was old enough to ride around 3 years old my wife and I have to literally pry him off his PW and he would cry for about 30 mins and now my daughter is riding a Polaris 50 outlaw quad and loves it and now wants here own 50. I showed her your post and she said I want one! Thanks for sharing!

My son when he was 3.

My wife help getting my daughter ready to go ride this last summer.

It is so rad hearing everyone's stories..kinda what I was hoping for when I put this up.

And as far as the bike starting last minute, it was almost like a movie....damn near to the point of tears because I couldn't think of anything else to do to get it to fire.
Took the carb apart for the 4th or 5th time, inspected every inch, then put it back together and just kinda prayed....fired first kick. Couldn't tell ya
why it worked that time, bout damn near fell over from joy when I heard it fire.

That's the reason I love this sport...my daughters never even ridden and has already created a memory I'll hold forever

Bought that first PW50 in 1982, second one in 2002, third one in 2008 and now we have two more in the family this Christmas. Son said "how did you do this and race too"? I said, "there was only one of you".

I hope soon to have my son a KTM50 and my daughter on a PW50 next summer. I found myself at the track with my family over the summer ridding on the kids track following my son around then riding my big bike. Its more exciting to see my son get better every time we go to the track!

Looks like your boys love it!

My son turns 4 tomorrow. I'm waiting another year, he gets his coordination fom his moms side of the family and I call him crash and burn on his push bike and when he is running, three trips to the ER for head wounds from connecting with the kitchen counter this year alone...motorcycle....yikes!!
