if it rains, that's gonna be a nasty track.

We saw it one year where it rained lightly up until the night show. They got the main track pretty well cleaned up, but, the slop they scraped off the track was nasty. I think it was Kyle Lewis that got stuck beside the finish line jump. If I remember correctly, they didn't get the bike out until after the main.

I'll be there...COAT and Poncho in hand....it's gonna be cold too (especially once the sun goes down).

Last year it rained all day right up to race time, and they did a great job with the track...I'd say as long as it isn't raining during the races, we'll probably be okay...the track guys have this rain thing figured out....

I bet the chance of snow, with that stadium sitting on the bench of the mountains, is as good as rain once the night show starts.

We were there last year. It even spit some snow during last practice. It's an OPEN (I mean OPEN) stadium...metal bench seats. OH MY GOSH...it was COLD. I just suggest you take something to sit on. That would have helped alot. Blink

Has it ever actually snowed during a SX night program? In the past 30 years I do not recall ever seeing pictures of snow at a SX track come race time? Since most places that would have a chance of snow have a domed stadium, this may be the first for an open air SX?

That would make for some amazing pictures, white snow covering the track and snow coming down while the pro's are killing it on the track...

This is my backyard...about 5 miles from the stadium. Hopefully it clears up by tomorrow.

I'm in Colorado, HOME OF THE 2010 DES NATION!!!!!! Just rainy here, driving out tonight through the snow storms on the Rockys. dumpin 1-2 feet in the hills here..
