Another SX race weekend, hoping this weekend there would be no significant injuries, but there was. Every SX race weekend this season has produced at least one rider with major injuries. Yet there seems to be
no effort to help cut down these occurrences. Should there be a mandatory chest protector rule? Better warning methods? Better track designs? Idk, but what is it gonna take get get something done to help? Was Kevin Windham working on something to help improve safety?

If I were in charge and wanted to improve safety, I would continue to let bikes get faster and faster each year.

The hell are you talking about Sx has its own rolling hospital essentially. There's absolutely no way to make sx completely safe.

Only thing I can think of is a full body suit but it would have to be extremely light weight. If there are some people out there with the skills to build it I think it would be well received and used.

I'm not sure what you're talking about specifically. There is an inherent danger in what they do.

I know in FIS downhill skiing, they have the upper body and neck inflatable airbags that work.
