Do you think they will ever bring it back to Chicago. I live 10 mins from Joliets Chicagoland speedway and there is so much room for a track, and for all the rigs and fans. I think they should! Whats everyones thought about that instead of having most on the west coast.

Does the new White Sox stadium have a collapsible roof? Outdoors in the midwest in springtime is not the ideal weather for a supercross. Indy, Detroit, Minneapolis and St. louis all have enclosed stadiums. Maybe up to Miller Park in Milwaukee?

No But the race can be held towards the end of the east season. The National in Indiana is going to be cool this year.

The baseball season starts at the beginning of April so that pretty much leaves Chicago out of the mix unless they had it at Soldier Field . It would be cool to see one at Miller Park but I think it's a long shot at best.

I remember seeing the one they had at the speedway, it was close to freezing I think?

Thats where Pingree lost the SX west title to a "Booger- eating hillbilly" (his words) if I remember correctly.

Soldier field would be awesome! Or have a National at Chicagoland speedway, I think it would be better than Salt Lake. There is a lot of land there.

They already are getting a new park? Seems like the new Comiskey wasn't that old.

The SX at the drag strip was the final round of east coast series where Roncada won the title. Shae Bentley edged out Ping for the 2000 west coast title at the final round in Dallas.

The New Jersey round coming at the end of the season and causing a 5400 mile Road-Trip (round trip from Seattle to Jersey & BACK to Vegas...versus 1100 miles from Seattle to Vegas) for 1 stupid-assed event is already causing some people to get really pissed off; so, if...if they threw a Chicago round in there...?

It could actually make sense!

That would be Awesome and very doable but I heard when they were building it that they would not be holding any motorized events there. I am not sure why that was and things could always change I suppose.

I didn't realize it was new as of 1991, and just got renamed without any major work in 03. My bad!
