I came away inclined to believe that he is injured.

If he was healthy why not just come out and say it? If he was for sure racing the outdoors, why not just dispel all the rumors?

He really didn't say anything other than he's "going racing Saturday night" that vague of an answer does imply that there is something. All he had to say was "I'll be at GH" he didn't....lotta lines to read between...

I didnt hear anything from RV that hes going to do the Nationals.

Perhaps the rumors he is addressing are the inaccurate ones like...its his ankle ...or... hes burned out ...or.... his wife has a remodel on the house planned...or...hes been hired by Mathis to whip him into 1990 KX250 shape...

He's not racing, it sucks but it's his body and choice. I'd like to see a big battle this summer and hopefully we'll see it with the reaming riders!

He bascially just said yes i've got an injury (We all ride with injuries) and I got two wins with it recently, so it's not slowing me up.

I'm guessing he rides outdoors as long as he doesn't make it worse, and as long as it doesn't affect his SX defence next year.

I heard "Are you racing outdoors?" "people like to talk" "we're goin racing" . Then he said "were gonna race and try and wrap this up" moving the conversation back to sx.I do find it interest when he said "we're goin racing" was the only time he looked Holley right in the eye. What did I miss?

He's avoiding the answer in that interview. My bet is on quitting and announcing it once he wrapped up the title. I think he hates the grind and is not up for a few more seasons. I even think he might skip the outdoor season aswell, just because he can't be arsed.

You can race with hip or knee injury but if there is problem you will wear out your original parts and then you will have lot of trouble rest of your life. If you get it fixed you could come back for one SX season and enjoy rest of your life without replacements in knee or something. I bet he will skip MX and get fixed what ever is wrong.
