GuyB was able to catch up with Roger Decoster just shortly after the announcement was made that Ryan Dungey had been docked two positions in the final results. Click the link to hear Roger's view on the decision.

The guy half ass threw the red cross flag while Anderson was going around Reed, they all kept on the gas.
The Shop
FWIW I'd be pissed too.
Joking relax!
Well yep it happened, We have to enforce the rule, it sucks but what ever they opt to do 50% of the folks will be pissed off.
Lets assume that it is true that RD did not have a chance to see the flag until it was too late. This is not the first time we have heard that. There needs to be a line on the side of the track or a spot that the flagger has to be on before a rider would get penalized for jumping on the red cross flag one that gives the best opportunity for the rider to see it.
When they cut to the section, Reedy went through and he didn't double on but he did that table in the section, I thought he might get pinged for that...
The AMA or FIM, or which ever organization is enforcing the rules, needs to be under pressure to treat similar circumstances the same, year after year after year. One wonders why it requires pressure on AMA to consistently apply the rules. Seems like this would be implied in even having rules.
Oh well, ..... We'll see what next year brings.
Pit Row
Its like putting speed limit signs behind a hedgerow. If i cant see it, does it exist? Hell no!
