Well that track aint gonna help him much.
You must be a trainer?

Best of luck to Robby this weekend!! It'll be cool to see a two stroke out there if he qualifies.

He has a better chance than anyone else so far. Robby is legit and got a 25th last weekend on a stock bike. Points.. I dunno, maybe at Southwick where he's magic.

A 300cc 2 stroke still is not allowed to race against 450s
A 150cc 2 stroke still is not allowed to race against 250s

Leaded fuel is still banned from AMA and FIM racing.

They could at least change one of these rules by now. It's been a decade already.

Even top level pro's have said they'd have a hard time qualifying on a smoker..... -___-

roczen got 5th on a hilly 125 killer track not to long ago, the gap between 125 vs 250f and 250t vs 450, is much less on a 250t vs 450 than on a 125

he'll be fine, he's got a good team behind him and a quality bike. As courtney duncan proved it, its not the bike, its the rider, courtney probably could've won on a supermini

Easy to say that when you are getting a pay check from someone like honda who doesn't make a two stroke anymore

It's apples to oranges tho. 2-strokes are so far behind on R&D, as well as under-sized. The 450 is definitely a better bike, but it's also been receiving over a decade of chasis, motor, fuel system, and other advancements, all with an extra 200ccs of motor volume. I see/hear 2-strokes and while I get a feeling of nostalgia, I also can't help but feel like I'm seeing a GP2 car compared to an F1 car.

Not arguing or calling you out, I'm a 2-stroke faithful like you, I just found "I do think the 450 is a better bike" to be an incomplete statement.

I don't see him making it in the program... If he's 2 seconds off his pace from Lakewood, he won't make the cut. His suspension looks like it's setup for a hare scramble. Wallowing everywhere on a 2nd gear track.. that will be fun when he goes twice as fast.
