While the RM-Z250 didn't fair to well overall, it did receive the highest praise from our lightweight novice rider, who had recently made the transition from Superminis. His comments related to how easy the bike was to ride overall. Jump in and read everyone's feedback, if you're interested.

the motors on them arent "the best" but the chassis is awesome. but keep in perspective 250f's were fast 10 years ago and on average only made 2 hp less than the rmz. a lot of people see this and go oh its a slow motor but even 10 years ago 250fs were fast
