Corona, CA, January 1, 2013 - MB1 Suspension the leading USA based Factory Showa Suspension Tuner is proud to officially announce they’re partnership with Hyper X Racewear and the introduction of the MB1 Motorsports – Hyper X Racewear - Motocross team, as well as the official roster for the upcoming 2013 AMA Supercross season. The new team will be managed by Mike Battista of MB1 Suspension, Stu Bailey from Hyper X Racewear and Jamie Allen of Relentless Media. The team will be supporting # 85 Kyle Partridge and #46 Weston Peick and is proud to be running the new 2013 Suzuki RMZ 450’s.

Each of the teams Managers have won various AMA number one plates either on their own or as part of other teams and they are hoping that this new effort will bring both the success in racing they are accustomed to as well as a unique opportunity to provide a better vehicle for sponsors to get much needed ROI for their marketing dollars.
“If you’re a sponsor and you’re looking for exposure for your brand, and unique onsite activation, promotions and event marketing opportunities then this is the team you want to be a part of, our number one priority is to help our sponsors sell products. Said Jamie Allen, who went on to say ” The team’s core philosophy will be to “sell what we race” so you’ll actually be able to buy the same bike we build for Peick and Partridge from us and our sponsors and supporting dealerships and use it to go win races.”

Mike Battista said, “In working with other teams I am always limited by the mistakes they have made and bridges they have burned in the sport, I built the best bike I could build for Mike Alessi and we came in second for the outdoors.” Said Mike Battista, “With this team we don’t have the same limitations and building a better relationship with Suzuki, Showa and the rest of our sponsors I believe we have built a better bike and program for Kyle and Weston.”

“By teaming with MB1 Motorsports, Hyper X cements the foundation to grow our "lifestyle" clothing line. For 2013 Hyper X will expand our line of casual clothing. From our own fresh designs to "Signature Series" designs for Weston Peick and Kyle Partridge, Hyper X looks to continue to expand outside of our core personalization business.” Said Stu Bailey From Hyper X. He went on to say “ We are thrilled to be a part of the beginning of what we feel is a better breed of MX team”

In addition to MB1 Suspension and Hyper X Racewear the team and its riders are proud to be supported by Malcolm Smith Motorsports, Suzuki, R2MX,FLY,ProRide.com,Motorsport Hillsboro, Utopia, Rocket, Renegade, KSR Wheels, Bolt Hardware, Max Muscle, Torco, Sunstar, Dunlop, Injectioneering, Hinson, Acerbis, Factory Backing, Piston Bones, Motion Pro, Works Connection, Galfer, Moto Tassinari, Vertex, Boyesen, ICW Radiators, Moto Seats, Matrix, DT1, ODI, Hammerhead, Applied, Hot Rods, Hot Cams, Cometic, Vertex Pistons, Pivot Works, MotoMaster, Dt-1Filters, High Desert, Shift, Fox, 2up Factory Racing, Silkolene, FMF, Motostar, Dunlop, Dubya, Mika Metals, Matrix, CV4, Tokyo mods and renegade fuels and Showa.

Thanks for the Kind words! You are correct, MB1 and Tuff built Alessi's bikes last year joint effort. Didnt mean to imply that it was Just MB1.We really hope to show those factory boys that we can build solid racebikes and then allow anyone to buy one...No gimicks No seperation...Why shouldnt you have the same bike as the pro's?

Hey FYI everybody all of the riders sponsors may not be reflected on the image that is with this post do to not having them all at the time of posting. If your a sponsor and your logo is not on the image have no fear that all sponsor logo's will be on each riders bikes and their promotional posters. Also big thanks to Chris "BDW"Gantz for the photo!

I was stoked when Weston told me about the organization of this new team with himself and Kyle Partridge about 3 weeks ago. I have personally helped Weston out in many way for the last few years and planned to help again this year when he told me about this, it looks like i may need to step up to the plate even further for 2013.I am currently working with another friend to bring something together (last minute of course) for Weston and the team if they are looking for some outside assistance.See you guys at A1 !!!
