Where do all the riders gear sets (race and practice) end up after they are worn a few times? Do they go back to the gear companies or do the riders stock pile all their sets? Every so often there are a few sellers on EBay that seem to have a TON of used gear that they auction, is that cause they know someone on the inside that hooks them up? Just curious cause thinking about how often riders where new sets once or twice then move on to the next, there's gotta be a SH#@ ton of old gear stock piled somewhere!
Sponsored riders could care less about gear. They have tons sent to them at home for practice and the gear reps deliver set's to them for every session they hit the track at a race. Its like a legal pad or pens to someone that works in an office.
Boots and helmets are a little different, but they don't go through those as quickly.
