As many of you know Robbie finished his 12 yr streak with the #17 and now it belongs to a great rider that we all wish tons of luck too...Justin Barcia!! So as he enters the New Year he is bringing back something from his roots......the number he wore his entire amatuer career #67. He is planning on racing it at the Arenacross series in 2010.... :-)

that's cool Sis.

What keeps him going (to race a pro series) after all these years?

Great to see RR still going (even though it will be odd seeing him in a different number). He looks like he has trimmed down a little too...

What team/bike is he riding in 2010 and is there a chance he may race any SX or MX?

Year after year I have hoped to see a fit and healthy RR show up at the races and kick some ass. Could 2010 be it??? Lets hope so.

Best of luck to RR and the family.

RR and others like him are what I see in my minds eye when I think "motocross." Glad to see 67 again.

I was rooting for Robbie to get a point at Freestone but he didn't quite get there. I'm bummed that he doesn't have that number any more, but it happens to everyone. There's now another #2 and eventually there will be another #4 I guess.

If someone was going to get Robbie's number, though, I wish it had been Pourcel. He rides a lot more like Robbie than Barcia.

Hey sis, heres a new picture for you signature line:

Man, I'd love to see Robbie ride Rio Bravo when it's really rough and rutted and gnarly. That guy floats around a track like a magician. He's lost some speed over the years but he's the same fluid, balanced, smart rider he always was. And losing speed is relative - if I could keep up with him for more than 1/2 a lap, I'd kiss the earth and die happy.

I still love watching the old Terra Firma's and Robbie throwing the huge whips over that huge double in Moore.

We got to ride with him at Splendora several years ago, and his style is a lot like Windham,,, smooth and fast.

I'll bet he could get on Steve's old YZ85 and put 10 seconds a lap on me. And do it until the bike ran out of gas.

Put the 67 on 2010 YZ 250 and watch RR clean house.

That was Motorcycle Raceways, AKA 59th that we've been talking about in the other thread, in OKC

So we can count on some excellent RRsis pics of the Arenacross girls?
Thanks in advance sis and good luck to your brother.

I like his new number.
