Getting my bike cleaned up for the Spring and started removing my old graphic kit. Just wondering if anybody had any tips on getting the sticker goo off?! Almost every spot where the old graphics were there is that nasty sticker residue. I tried using just a little of carb/choke cleaner but it really isn't working, and seems to be making more of a mess. Any ideas? What is the best sticker removal products? Thanks.

i use a little bit of lacquer thinner, dont use to much of it though it might make your plastics fade a little bit if you use to much of it. or try Simple Green, i have used it before and it will get pretty much anything off

Next time before you take them off heat them up with a blow dryer. They'll pull off one shot cleanly with none of that sticker residue

3M adhesive remover works well. Or the old standby, gasoline. Soak a rag in a small amount of gas and lay it over the glue residue for a few minutes. It'll come off pretty easy after that, just be careful with the gas and open ignition sources.

Goo-Gone! You can find it at any store that sells cleaning products. It's some sort of citrus based stuff that dissolves the Goo and won't hurt the plastic.

might dissolve the glue but is oil what you really want soaking into the pores of the plastic before putting on new graphics?

If the graphics are not to bad. keep them on the shrouds, and buy new shrouds, save the others for spares. x2 on the goo be gone.
