Such beatiful riding! Of course it's just few clips from one race, but seems like a different guy from Paulin we've seen this year so far. Can it really be that he's just not comfortable with the Honda? Hopefully he'll be up there with the front runners soon!

I had chance to talk him a few weeks back and he told that their strategy is to get through the far away races injury free and turn up the heat once the GP circuit comes to Europe. Within three weeks we should know if it works out.

He was very fast in Trentino last year, cleared off won the first moto, then he had a mechanical that ended his 2nd race. So for what it's worth I think (and hope) that he'll do much better in Italy. More than anything his starts have just been horrible. Miss seeing him up there running with the big names for the title.

Hopefully that's a promise of something better to come from him. More fast guys at the front can only make it better. He's not actually that far behind in points, 37 from Desalle's first place. Well..... 37 points after only 3 rounds... but anyway not too far to get in the mix with top 4 still.

I wouldn't right him off just yet. He had a good weekend in Qatar and got on the podium, had some bad luck but great rides in Thailand and I guess he just wasn't quite feeling it in Argentina. He usually comes into his element when we start clicking off the European rounds, I don't think this season will be any different, it's a real long shot for him to win the title, but I think he can still have a good year

It would be awesome if Paulin could mix with Cairoli, Desalle, Villopoto and Nagl. That would awesome to the power of two! A German, Frenchman, Belgian, Italian and American fighting for the world title Woohoo

Good point for him to stay injury free, but... his usual speed is not here yet, and it's not a very good sign for the rest of the season.

That's one of the cool things about the GPs now. He must have made about 2 full seconds on big Ken just by hitting a single jump.

Man...watching his bike soak up the bumps, makes me wish RV had those settings. I watched Argentina today, what a difference in suspension action. I know..i know it may not work for RV..BUT..

To me he looks cramped and not able to move on the Honda. His style on the Kawi reminded me of a kid on a BMX track pumping the jumps i just don't see this body language on the Honda

Man, that was awesome. I remember that from last year. That track was so gnarly. I can feel my shoulders coming disconnected just watching that vid!

He's a big boy and needs a big bike. Now he's just helping to sell Civics and Accords

You are right on that, I mentioned earlier that this is the team RV rides for now. They know how to set up a bike. Rv wants different components? It's not working at the GP level so what's the deal? Who's in charge?

Love watching great riders on a killer sand track. Awesome, looked great & has to have some strong ass legs.. Also want to say the moving camera shots on the riders are incredible. How do they shot them? Utv or a cable with an extended arm?

On a sidenote please get one of the really good GP sand riders and have them run the Florida GNCC. Would be great to see these guys float over sand whoops for 3 hours. I'm not talking the whole series, just Florida. Bike week, Daytona SX, RCA SX (possibly instruct) & cap it off with the GNCC. A first year retired or current (great endurance training) sand specialist needs to consider this in the coming years, would be a hell of an experience & story.

Paulin in the Belgium video is a damn monster. He looks so strong the way he rides and maneuvers through the lines. I know it's only 3 rounds in and I've seen the comment of him playing it cool through these first 3 flyaways and getting out healthy. What I don't get is that he was so strong last year and was a favorite for the title this year and nobody else seems to be playing it cool, they're riding their asses off. I watched him closely as much as I could this last round and he does not look like the same rider on the Honda. HRC is putting full effort into GPs program, but if the bike doesn't suit him, what else can be done. He looks very cramped on the bike with very little flow.

He looked very comfortable even on stock CRF450 and didn't seem worried (although the Argentina race was after that...) at the EMX150 camp in Spain, so I really believe we'll see different GP21 at Arco in few weeks.

Yeah he was he didn't do it in the race, even so was still awesome to watch. We walked the track after the race and it was unbelievable how rough it was

The Honda is really small...could the problem be as simple as that? I know that a big guy on a small bike on a sandtrack is a tough combination for chassi and suspension. Hopefully GP21 will get comfortable and find his groove on it. He is a joy to watch and brings something unique with his style just like RV. And KDD when he is on it

I agree. How did Ken do that year? (compared with years that he rode normal sized bikes)
