Was cruising YouTube and came across this. I totally forgot about this one. Had some cool formatting and a cool layout with the metal ramps.

MC had a pretty good wad too

Man K-Dub really made some money that weekend. Didnt he make like $185,000 for that weekend of racing? Not bad, not bad at all haha

I definitely remember, thought it was cool, still remember that slow mo shot of Grant going up the ramp practically on his sidewall.

The scariest part was after he crashed, MC was tugging on his head like he was trying to pop his neck.

His neck was actually fractured.

I remember this race well - no one else I talk to seems to have heard of it!

I remember watching it because it was one of the
first moto events that was livestreamed. I was in highschool and I watched it on my parent's 17" CRT PC monitor over our crappy internet connection. Put the PC in the middle of the living room and a bunch of friends and I all had to stand right against it to see on the low resolution/small screen haha.

This was a cool event and I remember it being good racing. The metal ramps were... interesting... But I did really like the format. It would be cool to see MC throw this again!

MC was my hero growing up - it was such a bummer for him to crash out of his own race and get hurt like that.

That was a cool event. They had a lot of non-endemic sponsorship. We got really nice gift packages for being invited (Boost phones and service, PlayStation Portable, etc). 15K for 5th overall wasn't all that terrible, either.

Yea. I attended that and though it was excellent. A lot more entertaining than the usual run of the mill super-cross! Cool

Was that your biggest single payday or do some of these overseas races pay more? You don't need to answer it if you don't want, not trying to get personal, just interested in what the off season races are paying nowdays.

Supercross should have that metal ramp. That thing is awesome.

There is one point in the video where Josh Grant is railing the outside before one of the metal ramps and BARELY gets his back tire on the ramp as he's about to throw a huge whip to the right. Big balls to hit those ramps!
