Chad Reed will not race tonight in Daytona. Even though he was fastest in practice, Chad didn't feel ready to go tonight

Fckin stupid.. Now he's going to say "see I'm the fastest". which is BS unless he went out and won".

Be a team player for once in your life Chad and go out and help your team mate. You've always asked that of your team mates so why not go out and get it done and put yourself between RV and RD?

The fact that he goes out there and teases everyone sucks.

He could have seen how he felt on his Daytona replica track he had built at his place.

Would have been good to see him out there. Who knows, how it would have all turned out. Personaly. I don't think he can beat Dungey or RV.

I agree. He can for 1 lap but not 20. If you look at his times in practice he didn't have one other time that was even close to his fast lap. He let it all hang out on the edge for one lap so he could pack up and say I'm the fastest but just didn't feel like doing 20 laps.


I like CR and am a fan of his but this type of stuff he does irritates me.

He said this week in an interview with Matthes that he would probably run practice and see he he feels.
That's exactly what he's done, broken thumb or not, he stuck to his word.

Reed has been pretty damn crazy while riding with injuries before, so I assume if he drops out, it's really something bad?

Dang it...well I'd rather see him live to fight another day than have him get hurt worse. I believe if he thought he could hang on at race speed, he'd be on the gate.

He crashed in quailifing right in front of us on the wall jump. He was looking real good up to that point after he was just cruising around.

Has anyone in this thread ever attempted to race at full speed on a very demanding track without full use of your grip? Has anyone here even tried to ride injured or coming back from the soreness a broken bone leaves? So many people to jump all over a guy's back just for trying.. if he had backed out before practice you guys would probably say the same shit.

You have some real issues man! You don't know and some of the shit that gets said makes me want to puke. He said from word go in every interview that he would definately ride practice and see how he goes from there.

The guy has ridden maybe 4 times in 6 weeks comes out and does the fastest lap time against RV and Dungey and you can still make that statement. You have some problem for sure. You ever raced after coming back from injury? It is hard for sure with not just fitness but confidence.


I think it is great what he did, becasue Dungey and the rest will now be scratching their head.. Remember Dungey in his interview said he thinks Stewart and Reed will eb surpirsed coming back just how much the pace has picked up?? Well I think Reed just answered that LOL and he is the second fastest. JS still to come..
