Funny story about that flag. I was standing in the extra long pisser line and the dude in front of me said to his buddy "hey isn't that your flag?" The other dude was like "yeah, somebody got it ha ha."

I have never really understood the whole "chive on" thing. It seems really pervy, and the people that live for it are perverted old guys who can't talk to women. So they just look at them through their phones.

you obviously only see the tits/ass side of TheChive which is understandable. if people go there that's usually the first thing they see. but that's a small part of the site. if anything the ass/tits bring more and more people to knowledge of TheChive. then when they notice there is more to it, they start to see the charitable side of things. i myself have received random acts of kindness in the form of gift certs and beer left on my truck just because i have a KCCO sticker. i've paid it forward many times and the joy people get in that random kindness is worth it.

The misconception of the internet user. Perverted fat dudes that live in their parents basement being afraid of females.
It's as ignorant as labeling MX riders as 'bros' that do it because they want to act tough.

Right on man, not trying to sell anyone on it. I get it. You look up the chive and it's half naked girls and drunk idiots partying.. But for some people it's more than that. The many stories of sheer kindness from complete strangers is staggering. Bill Murray for instance has been adopted by the chive because of his insanely huge heart when it comes to giving to those in need.

Anyway getting deep. KCCO might mean something to someone now and maybe make a difference for someone in the future in need. And to that I say pay it forward, bro

Been to the site, but never knew. I'm blown away by the story and the amount of giving. A whole new level of respect for TheChive.
