Nickname The Reds
The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force. Based at RAF Scampton, Lincolnshire, UK, they are soon to move to RAF Waddington. They were formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands.

February 8th, 2011.
As many have likely already heard, the famed "Red Arrow" suffered a crash this week. Red was practicing for his upcoming video shoot for the 2012 Supercross Track Preview on a prototype style of track that is still in the early stages of development. The track was said to be something to give the common fan more of a rush with new types of obstacles. The accident occurred when Red crossed a section of track that is used for two separate straights just as his currently unemployed brother, Blue Arrow, was going down the same straight in an opposing direction, causing a high-speed collision. Fortunately, Blue was not harmed physically, though he might have been feeling the effects mentally. "I just wanted to come out and ride with my brother today. He's always so busy shooting track previews and partying with Monster girls, I feel like I have to seize any opportunity to see him. I can't believe what happened! All I did was take one look at the scoreboard to see if I was beating Red's time. The next thing I know, we're both on the ground, and he's unconscious! I feel so bad! I don't think I'll be able to ride with him again!"
Though it is too early to tell the extent of Red's injuries, the recovery time is looking to be shorter than originally thought. Red Arrow regained consciousness shortly, but medical staff insisted on him going to the hospital for further evaluation.
I also did a little digging and found secret pictures of the track map for the prototype track they were testing. Looks like the crash could have happened on the track crossing just before the gator pit.
I've admired Red Arrow's super smooth style and consistent speed for his entire career.
I found this pic of the Red guy and his son. The apple dosen't fall far from the tree does it? lol
The Arrow Coming out of the closet. Sorry guys, thought you knew.
