The Shop
Cole Thompson could have easily went 2-1 yesterday. From my vantage point, lappers held him to 4th in moto 1. He had a 20+ second lead in moto two with only 5 minutes or so left on the clock when he went down huge right in front of me. Looked like he got cross-rutted going up the face of a simple double.
Metcalfe was impressive, especially in moto 2 when he came from nearly last to win. Obviously his fitness was huge, it was HOT out.
Kyle Keast was equally impressive, especially considering this was his first national in over a year. He went down while running 2nd in moto 2, and managed to charge his way back to 2nd. Was awesome to watch.
