We were at Glen Helen yesterday, finishing up the third day of our 250 Shootout, and there were a wide variety of riders on the track.

Bas Vaessen has been putting in laps on a 450 out here. He was one of the MX2 riders scrambling to find a ride for '18 after Suzuki shuttered their GP efforts, but will be on a Honda next season. He tried our '18 250F at the first day of our shootout, and came off the track fairly giddy...and that was just the stock bike. Unfortunately, with our heavy schedule of testing, we couldn't get him back on the bike yesterday, but he was still getting in his time.

Aaron Plessinger was on a 450, and looking pretty smooth out there, despite there being quite a few "rolling chicanes" out on the track.

Over at Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Supercross track just outside of the Talladega turn at GH, Martin Davalos was working on his sixth day of Supercross testing back on the green bike, and Ivan Tedesco (who Pro Circuit loves as a test rider) was also putting in laps.

Doug Dubach has won a pile of Vet World titles, and he was getting ready to go for more this weekend. We'll be out there Sunday checking out the action.

Speaking of the Vet World Championship it looks like there's a whole bunch of French speaking Quebecois that made the long trip. Mind taking a couple pics of those guys if you're in attendance s'il vous plaît? Merci.

They're pitting out of a big black trailer from Mathias Marine Sports. Not exactly sure who they are but might recognise some of the names if I see the entry list or results sheets. Is there a place to see the entry list? Thanks.

Most notable Quebec riders are Guy Giroux, Alex Langevin, Marc Dionne (FMX rider turned real fast Vet rider) and

Andy Mathieu (as a US/Quebec racer, he's married to a quebec girl and races in Quebec regularly)

The rest are local Quebec Vet racers

Thanks. I know who the top 3 are. I'll check the entry list and results to see if other names ring a bell.

How many in total made the trip? Pretty cool to see.

Pis toi, est-ce que tu course, spectateur, mécanique?

Good luck to all the guys.

They are 16 from Quebec, most of them flew in but 2 of them drove accross the country and hauled the 16 bikes in that trailer.

I wish I was there but have no vacation day left after being on the road for my daughter's races for about 4 months

Understandable. I guess you have no choice but to put in work since you guys are planning on doing it again in 2018.

I guess there's always 2019 for you.

Marci Dionne has amazing taste in graphics, that's just a cool image even not on the side of a badass KTM.

Certainly different but I like it.

KTM est fort au Québec. I remember around '04-'05 all you'd see was Kawasaki's. Equipe Les Chutes everywhere. Duroy KTM for a while and now it looks like Mathias Marine Sports has taken over. The sport looks like it's still going strong in La Belle Province.

Plessinger on the 450 huh? Maybe they have a replacement for their injured riders right under their nose. They are wasting his talent on a 250 IMO.

Awesome that you are going to get some Vet coverage. Snap a few of Rodney Smith on the Beta if you get a chance? Hope he's defending his championship this year?

Th VW van is inspire by the fact that he used to go to race with an old vw jetta tdi and a small trailer. He now moved in the motovan crew. He was there also in 2013 with me and few other guys.

Wish I can go back next year...

Maybe not the speed to go race with the kids, but consistent speed? Yes.
