Yeah, the saddest part is that even the Monster girls improve, Ralph hasn't gotten any better in 5 years and last night it seemed like he was watching something else than the race.

Give him a break, he does a great job considering they are doing it live, off the cuff. Mistakes are going to happen. I'm not a big Ralph fan but he is good at his job.

Like when my wife was running the New York City Marathon last year.

I had been waiting near the finish for hours and planned on yelling - your on the Home Stretch babe! Home Stretch! when she came by.

Finally, after like 3 and a half hours of watching runners - she runs by and I yell Home Run! Home Run!

She looked at me like WTF are you talking about?!?!

Sorry I was typing fast this morning and didn't proof read it. When they were talking about the jets player in the audience Ralph said that the guy plays for the New York and then spelled out jets and Jeff had to correct him by actually calling them the jets.

His job would be tough. We all have days at work when we are not on our A game. His just happens to be in front of millions. Not to mention, think of all the personal things in our lives that can easily spill over into work. Death of a loved one, etc. In a job like his, we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. I have mad respect for Ralph and Emig. They are broadcasts more in 5 supercross events than Bailey and Eckman were for all 15 rounds of the series back then.

Does anyone else wish the announcing team was K-Dub and Emig? They both have raced at the pro level and know how to "speak moto" in a sense. Shit, I'd be fine with having Weigant do SX, too. Ralph is just confusing.
